Black Business Ventures Association (BBVA) is delighted to announce BBVA's first Case Competition. Test your analytical thinking by providing solutions to a hypothetical situation.

As BBVA is in the process of supporting black founders and diversifying the tech ecosystem, we recognize the value of teams with a variety of talents and backgrounds.

E_ligibility Requirements:

  • To amplify the voices of black students, BBVA requires that teams are led by or include a black individual(s).�
  • Only one team member is required to complete the registration form below.
  • To be eligible to participate,�all of your team members must be a current student or recent graduate of a university in Alberta.
  • Your team can consist of a mix of current students and recent graduates from a variety of universities in the province.

Once you have registered an eligible team, BBVA will email you the rulebook to explain further details.

Prizes (Gift Card)

  • First Place: $1000
  • Second Place: $700
  • Third Place: $500

BBVA Case Competition Event Details:

  • The competition will be a virtual event taking place on September 21 at 6:00pm.
  • During the event, teams will present their solutions live in front of judges and BBVA team members.  
  • The case will be released on September 20 at 4:00pm.
  • Submission will be due on September 21 at 4:00pm.�
